Who we are
Women’s Legal Service WA (WLSWA), Aboriginal Family Legal Service (AFLS) and Ruah Legal Services (RLS) have partnered to deliver state-wide legal services for victims and survivors of sexual violence in Western Australia.
Each partner will specialise in the provision of services to particular target groups, whilst allowing victim and survivor choice.
There will be ‘no wrong door’ for people who engage with our service, and all partners are committed to championing victim and survivor autonomy and voice.
We provide free, confidential and independent legal advice to people who have experienced sexual violence in Western Australia. Our services are independent from the police and government lawyers.
We give victims and survivors the advice and information they need to feel empowered when making legal decisions. We focus on the experience of victims and survivors of sexual violence and provide a safe space that is trauma informed and culturally secure.
Where we cannot help, we link with other services who might be able to.
